Foundation and History
- RMUTL-Lampang was established in 1970 as the Lampang Agricultural School, one branch of Mae Jo Agricultural College.- 1975 as Lampang Agricultural Campus under Institute of Technology and Vocational Education (ITVE)
- 1988 was renamed Rajamangala Institute of Technology (RIT) by His Majesty the King Bhumipol of Thailand
- And in 2005 the thirty eihht campuses of RIT were united into 9 University of Technology cover all region of Thailand
Vision
Rajamangala University of Technology is a leading university which offers effective education, based on science and technological concepts. It aims to develop highly qualified graduates systematically and in a sustainable way to become professional executives and reach international standards, serving in competitive and developing economies. It also concentrates on the preservation of national cultural values and the environment.
Mission
1. To offer vocational academic programs based on science and technology and provide opportunities for graduates to study further.
2. To develop qualified graduates systematically in order to reach international standards.
3. To increase competitive advantages and academic excellence by means of research, inventions, innovations, and academic services.
